Cards for Kids and local card making fun

As an adult, you know how fun it is to get mail, real mail, not a bill! Now imagine you are a child, who is ill, and spending extended time in the hospital. Imagine how a card would make you feel!!! My local Christian radio station is having a Cards for Kids card drive for the month of July. They will be collecting cards for children at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. This hospital is incredible and cares for some of the sickest and horribly injured children from all over. Here is a link to the information for card criteria. Because these children can be very ill, please follow the guidelines listed. Cards for Kids Card Drive.

My local scrapbooking store, Scrapmania, is hosting a huge get together of stampers from a Facebook group called, Stamp Junkies. I highly recommend the group! It is 17,000+ members all who are crazy in love with stamping and card making. They share projects, advice, sales, and so much more!

The Iowa Stamp Junkies Meet-Up will be happening July 22. Illiana from Sweet Petunia (MISTI creator!) will be there. Along with myself! I will be sharing products and tips from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, We R Memory Keepers, and from my new line with Papertrey Ink, Sincerely Yours! Space is limited. Contact Scrapmania today to reserve your spot! The event is FREE and you will get a 10% discount that day! I look forward to a day with people who love stamping!

I love how the card making community brings people together for fun and for sharing love! What a wonderful group of people to be surrounded by!

sincerely yours,
